Russian drone and artillery strikes on Kherson region injure civilians

On September 21, Russian troops attacked settlements in the Kherson region using artillery and drones. Three civilians were injured as a result of the shelling.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported the incident.

As of 5:30 PM, it was confirmed that a resident of Urozhaine and two residents of Kherson had been wounded.

The shelling also damaged private homes, apartment buildings, a church, hospital facilities, and an administrative building. A service vehicle, a truck, and a passenger car sustained damage.

“Under the procedural supervision of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding the commission of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the statement read.
