Russian drone attack on Odesa region claimed the life of a woman, hit a gas pipeline and warehouses

On the night of July 22, Russian drones attacked the Odesa region, one person was killed, fires broke out, and civilian infrastructure was destroyed, including the depressurization of the main gas pipeline. According to the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, the Russians once again attacked the Odesa region with attack drones. Civilian infrastructure was again hit. In one of the settlements, a Russian UAV hit a two-story apartment building. Unfortunately, a 61-year-old woman died.

In another settlement, he noted, the roof of a private residential building collapsed as a result of the drone strike. There were no casualties.

The attack also damaged a tobacco storage facility and a main gas pipeline, which led to its depressurization. A fire broke out at the scene.

According to the head of the Odesa city military administration, Serhiy Lysak, the Russians continue to terrorize Odesa. The morning in the city began with another attack. Fortunately, this time there were no consequences or casualties.

As a result of the Russian attack in the Odesa region, dry grass caught fire, in another settlement a large-scale fire broke out in a tobacco warehouse, and in another district the roof of a two-story residential building caught fire. All fires were extinguished by employees of the State Emergency Service.

The State Emergency Service confirmed that the main gas pipe was depressurized as a result of the hit. More than 60 rescuers and 13 units of State Emergency Service equipment, as well as 8 specialists and 3 units of equipment from local fire brigades, were involved in the elimination of the consequences.
