Russian drone attacked a civilian car on the highway near Mykolaiv

On the morning of January 7, Russian troops committed another war crime — an enemy UAV hit a civilian car traveling on the Mykolaiv — Stanislav — Kherson highway near the village of Lymany in the Galitsynivska community.

A Suzuki passenger car was hit. The attack damaged the vehicle’s body. The driver was miraculously unharmed.

Police departments of the Mykolaiv District Police Department and the regional headquarters’ explosives department worked at the scene. Law enforcement officers documented the consequences of the shelling, collected material evidence, and recorded the attack as a deliberate attack on civilian transport.

Investigators of the Main Department of the National Police in Mykolaiv Region launched a pre-trial investigation into this fact under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — war crimes.
