Russian drone ‘hunted’ child in Kherson

A video of a boy who received shrapnel wounds as a result of a Russian drone attack in Kherson is spreading on social networks.

This was reported by the Commissioner for Human Rights in Ukraine Dmytro Lubinets.

The boy said that the Russians opened fire on him and his friends while they were playing in the street.

“Kherson is constantly suffering from Russian attacks directed against the civilian population. One of the “entertainments” of the Russians is to chase civilians with drones and drop explosives on them. This time, the target was children. What is the purpose of “hunting” for children? It is impossible to comprehend – barbarity directed against the most defenseless. Such actions grossly violate international humanitarian law. The international community must increase pressure on Russia, because every child must be protected! Impunity only leads to new crimes,” stressed the Commissioner for Human Rights in Ukraine Dmytro Lubinets.
