In the Donetsk region on the morning of November 8, a Russian drone targeted a vehicle of the Proliska humanitarian mission.
This was reported by the head of the Proliska humanitarian mission in the Donetsk region, Yevgenia Tkacheva.
According to him, the drone attacked a vehicle carrying Proliska volunteers and representatives of foreign media. The exact location of the incident is not disclosed for security reasons.
According to the “n-tv” channel, Christian Verschütz, a correspondent for the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (“ORF”), and his Spanish colleague were in the vehicle. They were traveling with the humanitarian mission to Kostyantynivka.
It was an evacuation vehicle marked with the Proliska humanitarian mission.
“The drone hovered for a few seconds, as if it was looking. We managed to jump out – and immediately after that there was an explosion,” Verschütz said on social media. “We had five guardian angels and one quick-reaction employee who saw the drone approaching. All four team members are healthy, we survived. It was undoubtedly a Russian drone used against tanks. It flew straight at us,” Verschütz said.
