In the village of Skovorodynovka of the border Zolochiv community, a Russian drone “Molniya” damaged the building of the National Literary and Memorial Museum named after Hryhoriy Skovorodа.
This was reported by the head of the Bogodukhiv District Military Administration Anatoly Rystsov.
According to him, the attack damaged the museum building, but no people were injured.
Rystsov noted that Russian troops “continue to terrorize the civilian population and destroy cultural heritage” of the district.
The Hryhoriy Skovorody Memorial Museum in Skovorodynovka was destroyed during Russian shelling in early May 2022. According to the Ministry of Culture, the restoration will require more than 100 million UAH.
In July 2023, the Kharkiv Regional Administration announced that the building was planned to be preserved. In October, the museum announced a tender for priority work. In January 2025, the OVA explained how they were working with UNESCO to preserve the museum.
