Russian drones attacked Sumy: school and enterprises damaged, there are victims

At around four in the morning on September 22, Russian drones attacked Sumy.

As a result of three hits in the Kovpakiv district of the city, fires broke out, industrial facilities and the building of an educational institution were damaged. This was stated by the head of the Sumy city military administration, Serhiy Kryvosheyenko.

One person was injured.

“Preliminarily, three UAV hits were recorded in the Kovpakiv district of the city. There are fires as a result of shelling. An inspection of the territory is being conducted. The consequences are being clarified,” he noted.

According to the acting chairman, two hits fell on industrial facilities, another one on an educational institution. In nearby high-rise buildings, windows were broken and balcony frames were damaged.

“Two hits fell on an enterprise – a security guard was wounded,” Kryvosheyenko reported.
