At dawn on September 22, Russian drones attacked businesses in the Oleksandrivskyi district of Zaporizhzhia. The strikes destroyed a car wash and caused significant damage to two restaurants.
According to the car wash manager, the business had operated at this location for over 20 years. One of the drones crashed onto the road in front of the car wash, sparking a fire. “Two Shaheds destroyed everything: the equipment is ruined, and nothing is left,” the employee said. The attack damaged the car wash’s premises and equipment. Despite the extensive destruction, there were no casualties.
Two restaurants in the historic part of Zaporizhzhia—”Traktir bilya Kabmina” and “Paradise”—also sustained damage. At the first restaurant, the fire charred the walls and destroyed the roof, while the interior was flooded with water during firefighting efforts. Damage was also reported at the neighboring restaurant. In the morning, staff members were cleaning up the aftermath of the attack and trying to salvage what remained.
