On April 27, at night, the Russians launched another shelling of southern Ukraine. Mykolaiv was reached during the announced air alert. The night strike was directed at the residential quarters of the regional center. This was reported by Vitaly Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration.
Russia used S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems. At least four rockets landed in the center of Mykolaiv. It is already known that one high-rise building and two private houses were hit.

It is about the shelling of Mykolaiv with sea-based missiles of the “Caliber” type. They were flying along a difficult trajectory, so it was not possible to eliminate them by air defense.

It is also indicated that as a result of the shelling, a one-story residential building was destroyed.
“Here, 6 civilians were injured, 1 more person died,” the State Emergency Service said. The body was unblocked.
In addition, it is reported that the doors and windows of the five-story building at another address were knocked out by the blast wave. Rescuers were called in to open the damaged door and evacuate the injured residents of the building.
The chairman of the city, Oleksandr Sienkovych, said that utility workers and representatives of the district administration are already working at the site of the shelling.
“We fix all the damage. We draw up acts. We clean the territory from debris and garbage. We will sew up the damaged windows with OSB plates,” Sienkovych wrote.
