
On the night of November 19, Russian troops carried out a massive attack with “Geran-2” kamikaze drones on Kharkiv. As a result, at least 36 people were injured, including two children.
This was reported by the Kharkiv regional police.
Around midnight, the Slobidsky and Osnovyansky districts of the city were hit. The attack caused significant destruction: more than 10 apartment buildings, civilian enterprise premises, garages, an ambulance substation, a supermarket, a gym, a shop, a school, trolleybuses and dozens of cars were damaged.
36 citizens sought medical help. Among them are children aged 9 and 13, in whom doctors diagnosed an acute stress reaction.
Police, rescuers and medics are working at the scene of the attacks. An operational headquarters of the National Police Investigation Department has been deployed in the Kharkiv region, where citizens can report damage or destruction of property.
Investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of the laws and customs of war.
On the night of November 19, Russia launched a massive strike on Kharkiv with strike drones. At first, a series of explosions were heard in the city, and later it was confirmed that the number of victims exceeded 30 people, including children.
Rescuers evacuated people from dangerous areas and destroyed houses, provided first aid to the victims on the spot, and some of them were hospitalized.
It is also known that at least 10 cars were destroyed or seriously damaged, some were completely burned down.
Local authorities reported significant damage to the Silpo supermarket building.
