77 objects of cultural heritage were damaged or destroyed in the territory of the Donetsk region controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.
This is reported by the Donetsk regional military administration.
The regional military administration noted that there are 7,541 objects of cultural heritage in the region (the data do not include the occupied territory after 2014).
As a result of the actions of the occupiers, the following are damaged:
In Mariupol, according to the plan of the occupiers, they plan to demolish another 1,000 high-rise buildings.
This was reported by the Mariupol City Council.
“Mariupol. Troitska Street, 44. Demolition of another building by the Russians,” the message reads.
The city council notes that by dismantling these houses, the Russians are setting up real concrete mass graves. After all, some of them still contain the bodies of Mariupol residents killed during the blockade. The occupiers plan to demolish another 1,000 such high-rise buildings.
“It is a cynical attempt to hide one’s crimes. There are already more than 50 such demolished houses from the map of Mariupol. At the same time, people are faced with the fact of demolition, not being allowed to move normally,” the city council added.
People whose houses are planned to be demolished are forced to solve this issue on their own in order not to be left on the street.
We will remind that the Russian troops in the occupied Mariupol use a new tactic of overturning their equipment. In order not to “light up” on camera, the enemy does this during the curfew.
In the schools of temporarily occupied Mariupol, Donetsk region, the occupiers are carrying out total Russification.
Trucks with Russian manpower began to arrive in Mariupol from the Donetsk direction. More than ten units of enemy equipment were spotted in the morning alone.
Petro Andryushchenko, an adviser to the chairman of Mariupol, said that the Primorsky district of the city temporarily occupied by Russian troops has turned into a complete ruin.
“Primorsky district. From Cheremushek to Lunin Square. A complete ruin. Part of it has already been turned into a desert. The remains are in the process of transformation,” Andryushchenko said.
The councilor emphasized that the life of the Primorsky district was destroyed by Russian tanks during the breakthrough attempt in early March and the Grad and Uragan MLRS, which fired at the Primorsky district from the village of Shiroka Balka, were finished.
According to Andryushchenko, “Azovstal” is at least 10 kilometers from here, on the other side of the Kalmius River.
The invaders turned the city into ruins. The occupiers plan to demolish another thousand high-rise buildings.
The Russians in the temporarily occupied Mariupol continue to destroy the houses of civilians. The Mariupol City Council writes about this.
During the siege of the city, the occupiers purposefully destroyed the private sector. About 11,000 houses were completely destroyed. More than 35,000 were damaged. Until now, most of them remain completely or partially destroyed. A similar fate, according to the plan of the occupiers, awaits almost 1,000 high-rise buildings.
Dismantling houses, Russians arrange real concrete mass graves. After all, some of them still contain the bodies of Mariupol residents killed during the blockade. A cynical attempt to hide his crimes.
More than 50 such buildings have already been demolished from the map of Mariupol. At the same time, people are faced with the fact of demolition, preventing them from moving normally. People are forced to solve this issue on their own in order not to be left on the street.
In Mariupol captured by the Russians, the invaders’ cars flew into the air – the participants of the resistance eliminated the Russian military.
As reported, the Russian occupiers continue to plunder the temporarily captured territories. One of the “favorite” routes for the removal of stolen goods is Mariupol – Taganrog. Along this route, the enemy is taking away looted grain, as well as scrap metal from destroyed cities, in particular from Mariupol. The occupiers are taking the construction materials of the destroyed buildings from Mariupol to the Russian Federation.
For more than half a year, Bakhmut has been on the list of the most shelled cities of the Donetsk region. The national police records the war crimes of the Russian Federation and new urban destruction, and the rescuers have already lost count of how many times they have gone to fires and evacuating people. It’s never quiet here. Russian occupiers are destroying the Ukrainian city around the clock.
Noon. It is very loud in Bakhmut. Earlier, early in the morning, the Russian occupiers massively shelled the city, and the second phase of shelling began in the afternoon. Already damaged and destroyed buildings located on the central streets of Bakhmut tremble from the vibration.
“Unbearable. Today, when the plane was flying, I said goodbye to life. Such a heavy plane is directly above us. Somewhere not far away it jerked. Scary, very scary. No water, no light, no heat, no food, only a humanitarian aid, which will be given a little. It’s hard, it’s scary when you see dead animals, it’s even scarier when people are killed, when people lie under broken houses for two months at a time, and there is no one to bury them,” says resident Bakhmuta Galina.
In most of Bakhmut, you won’t see any shops that are working, humanitarian aid is being brought, but the number of evacuation groups has decreased.
“With the evacuation, yes, they don’t come so often anymore, but they often bring us help. The boys brought us very good sleeping bags and products, which we also distribute and give out,” explains Volodymyr, a humanitarian aid volunteer at the Bakhmut City Council.
Under the threat of coming under fire, the capital’s volunteers are trying to give the locals what the city hasn’t had for more than six months. Ukrainian Bakhmut does not remain without help, without attention and sensitivity. Volunteers are drilling wells in two places, which means that people will have the opportunity to collect clean water.
Fires that occur as a result of direct hits by the Russian invaders are not uncommon, says Yuriy, a resident of the building. The man is the only one left in his entrance of this high-rise building.
“Direct hit. Gup. I can say it in Russian, but I won’t, or in Ukrainian, but I don’t have to,” he comments on the consequences of Russian shelling.
Residential infrastructure continues to be destroyed in the city. A dozen fires break out in Bakhmut every day. Today, the city is 70% destroyed. About 8,000 people live here, as before.
