Russian military launched 44 strikes on Sumy region at night and in the morning

On the night and in the morning of April 17, the Russian army launched 44 strikes on border territories and settlements of Sumy region, 74 explosions were recorded.

This was reported by the Sumy regional military administration.

The Stepanivska, Sadivska, Yunakivska, Myropilska, Krasnopilska, Velykopysarivska, Novoslobodska, Putyvlska, Glukhivska, Esmanska, Znob-Novgorodska communities were subjected to shelling.

On the territory of the Esmanska community, the Russians struck with artillery, FPV drones and dropped explosive devices from drones.

The Krasnopilska community was attacked with FPV drones, dropped explosive devices from UAVs, shelled with artillery and struck with guided aerial bombs.

The Russians dropped explosive devices from UAVs on the territory of the Putyvl and Novoslobod communities.

The Velykypisarivska community was attacked with FPV drones.

The Russians struck the territory of the Myropilska community with guided aerial bombs.

The Yunakivska community was shelled with artillery.

The Russians attacked the Znob-Novgorodska community with an FPV drone (1 explosion). As a result of the strike, a private residential building was damaged.

An FPV drone strike was recorded on the Glukhivska community.

Also at night, the Russians attacked the villages of the Stepanivska and Sadivska communities of the Sumy district with Shahed drones. Private households, cars, and non-residential buildings were damaged. There were no preliminary reports of deaths or injuries.
