On May 17, Russian military shelled 29 settlements in Kherson region. Eight people were wounded.

During May 17, Antonivka, Sadovoe, Prydniprovske, Molodizhne, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Tokarivka, Novotyaginka, Belozerka, Romashkove, Tomina Balka, Kizomys, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Sofiivka, Shyroka Balka, Beryslav, Rakivka, Tomarine, Osokorivka, Burgunka, Mykolaivka, Odradokamyanka, Novoraysk, Novooleksandrivka, Gavrylivka, Vesele, Kozatske and the city of Kherson were under UAV attacks, artillery shelling and air strikes, the post says.
The Russian army struck social infrastructure and residential areas. A high-rise building, three private houses, a service station, a garage, a cell tower, a gas pipeline and a car were damaged, Prokudin reported.
