On March 3, the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Dmytro Lubinets, stated that as of the end of 2025, 337 Ukrainian prisoners of war were known to have been executed by the Russians.
In April 2025, it was reported that the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine had documented 91 extrajudicial executions of Ukrainian prisoners of war since August 2024.
In July 2025, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reported that since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, prosecutors had documented the killings of 273 Ukrainian prisoners of war by Russians.
At around 17:30 on April 11, near the village of Gulyaypоle in Zaporizhzhia region, an evacuation group of Ukrainian wounded was killed using FPV drones.
“The partners’ new illusions that the Russians want peace must be shattered. Only by joint force, and not by playing along, can they be forced to sit down for negotiations,” analysts from the Ukrainian OSINT community emphasized.
