Russian missile attack: more than 20 houses and shops were damaged in Chernihiv

In Chernihiv, as a result of a Russian rocket attack on Saturday, 23 private houses and 4 shops were damaged, as well as windows and balconies in 20 apartments of an apartment building.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports: “As a result of the fall of fragments of a Russian rocket in the private residential sector of Chernihiv, glazing of windows and balconies in 20 apartments of an apartment building, 23 private houses and 4 shops were damaged.” The State Emergency Service added that there were no casualties.

Emergency services and volunteers are working at the scene.

The electricity, gas and heat supply systems in the damaged buildings are operating in a stable mode.

On the night of January 13, the Russians carried out an air strike on Ukraine, using 40 means – cruise, aeroballistic, aviation, anti-aircraft guided missiles and attack UAVs, of which 8 missiles were destroyed by air defense forces. Most missed the mark.
