The city of Pokrovsk in Donetsk oblast was shelled by the enemy with cluster shells. The bombs fell on residential areas and infrastructural facilities of the city. The use of cluster munitions in populated areas is a war crime, as they cover a large area and are indiscriminative.
Fortunately, some of the cluster shells that struck Pokrovsk did not explode. Experts of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine advise that it is very dangerous to move them, because they can react to temperature changes or explode within 20 hours if a fuse comes out of a cluster.
We document everything so that Russia will pay the full price in the Hague for the atrocities against Ukraine.
