Russian shelling damaged five houses and an agricultural enterprise in Sumy region

On September 3, the army of the Russian Federation struck 20 times at the border Sumy region, in total there were 137 explosions. As a result of shelling by the Rashists, five private houses and premises of an agricultural enterprise were damaged.

In particular, they fired on the Khotinsky, Belopolskaya, Krasnopolskaya, Znob-Novgorodskaya, Esmanskaya, Sveskaya and Velykopisarevskaya communities.

One private house and an outbuilding was damaged as a result of artillery shelling (7 explosions) of the Belopolsky society. In addition, the Russians fired mortars at the community (2 explosions).

In the meantime, in the morning, the enemy shelled from self-propelled guns on the outskirts of the city of Vorozhba, Sumy region, as a result of which four private residential buildings and premises of an agricultural enterprise were damaged.

The Russian Federation dropped one explosive device on the Khotyn community using a drone and attacked from artillery (4 explosions).

In the Krasnopol community, grenade launchers (LNG and AGS) (19 explosions), as well as mortar (13 explosions) and artillery (2 explosions) attacks were recorded. In addition, the occupiers attacked the community with six unguided rockets (NAR), six explosions were heard.

Velikopisarevskoye society was subjected to grenade fire from the AGS (48 explosions), and the Russians also fired from a mortar (4 explosions).

The Znob-Novgorod community also suffered from grenade fire from the AGS – 20 explosions were recorded, meanwhile, the enemy fired at the Esman society from artillery – nine explosions were heard.

The invaders dropped two mines on the territory of the Sveska community.

Russians from the territory of Russia carried out artillery fire on the town of Druzhba, Sumy region, as a result of which a civilian woman was injured. This was reported by the Prosecutor’s Office of Sumy Region.

“According to the investigation, on September 4, 2023, around 8 a.m., the Russians, using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, fired artillery from the territory of the Russian Federation against the civilian infrastructure of the town of Druzhba, Shostkinsky district. A 47-year-old local woman was wounded while in the territory of her own household “, the message says.

Seven private houses were also damaged as a result of shelling.

Proceedings have been opened regarding violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

On September 3, Russian troops shelled the town of Vorozhba. Deputy mayor Roman Kutsenko assumes that they were fired from large-caliber artillery. This time, 8 houses of civilians were damaged, and a power pole was also destroyed. There are no injured residents.

According to Roman Kutsenko, a third of the community’s residents left because of shelling.

Voorzhy has been shelled before, says local resident Ivan Moskalenko. Fragments of projectiles hit his home twice: the first time — in October 2022.

The Regional Military Administration was also informed that the premises of an agricultural enterprise were damaged in Vorozhba.
