Russian shells wounded a 14-year-old boy in Lyman: during the war, the Russians killed almost 500 Ukrainian children

Since the beginning of the war, the Russian occupying forces have killed 461 minor Ukrainians. More than 900 children were injured.

According to juvenile prosecutors, 461 children have died in Ukraine since the beginning of the war.

923 Ukrainian minors received injuries of varying degrees of severity.

Thus, on February 13, a 14-year-old boy was wounded in Lyman during another shelling of the city by the Russian occupiers.

Deportation of minors

During the war, 16,207 minor Ukrainians were deported to Russia.

345 Ukrainian children are considered missing.

Fortunately, it was possible to return 307 and find 9,719 young Ukrainians.

In which regions did Ukrainian children suffer the most?

The largest number of minor Ukrainians were affected by the actions of the Russian army in the Donetsk region (444).

Also, a large number of victims were recorded in other regions of the South, East and North of Ukraine:

• Kyiv — 123;
• Khersonska — 87;
• Zaporizhzhia — 84;
• Mykolaivska — 83;
• Chernihivska — 68;
• Luhansk — 66;
• Dnipropetrovsk — 64. 

Attacks on the educational system of Ukraine

Bombing and shelling by the armed forces of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine damaged 3,126 educational institutions.

338 of them were completely destroyed.

We will remind that on February 3, seven teenagers blew themselves up on a fragment of an anti-personnel mine “petal” in Izyum. As a result of the explosion, all the children received shrapnel wounds.

Vovchansk suffers the most from shelling. Last day, the Russian occupiers shelled 17 settlements in the Chuguyiv, Kupyan and Kharkiv districts.

The city of Vovchansk suffered the most from the invaders’ shelling. In the last day, at least six residential buildings, storefronts of trade pavilions and shops, buildings of civil industry and the administrative building of “Ukrtelecom” were damaged here. This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synegubov.

On the night of February 14, invaders attacked the village of Monachynivka in the Kupyan district. As a result of shelling, the village club building was damaged. There are no casualties.

Kupyansk, Dvorichna and surrounding villages were also shelled. Damage to private and multi-apartment residential buildings and commercial buildings was recorded.

Investigators opened criminal proceedings on the facts of violations of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Vovchansk of Chuguyiv district was the most affected, said the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration Oleg Sinegubov.

Yesterday, February 13, the Russian military shelled at least 17 border settlements of Chuguyiv, Kupyan and Kharkiv districts.

• At night, the enemy attacked the village of Monachynivka, Kupyan district, as a result of which the building of the village club was damaged.
• In Vovchansk, at least 6 residential buildings, storefronts of trade pavilions and shops, buildings of a civil industry facility, as well as the administration building of Ukrtelecom were damaged during the day.
• In Kupyansk and Dvorichnaya, private and multi-apartment residential buildings and commercial buildings were damaged by shelling.

Also, during the day, the State Emergency Service extinguished two fires in the Kharkiv Region, which occurred as a result of shelling by the Russian Federation:

• Around 06:00 in the morning, the occupiers shelled the private sector of Kupyansk with artillery. A fire broke out in one of the private yards.
• The second fire happened at 17:39 in the village of Podola, Kupyan district. A private house on the square was on fire. At 19:00, rescuers extinguished it.

 On February 10, at least 10 rockets were fired at Kharkiv and the region.

The army of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation continues to shell the Kharkiv region. Thus, on February 13, the enemy shelled at least 17 border settlements of the Chuguyiv, Kupyan and Kharkiv districts of the region.

“The mine danger remains high in the region. Yesterday, near the village of Nova Husarivka, a 46-year-old employee of Kharkivoblenergo was blown up by an anti-personnel mine “Pelyustka”. He was hospitalized in serious condition,” Sinegubov added.
