Russian strike destroys Zaporizhzhia Stud Farm’s stud farm

As a result of the Russian attack on July 28, the stud farm of the Zaporizhzhia Stud Farm, which is part of the state enterprise “Equestrianism of Ukraine”, was destroyed. Most of the horses from the enterprise were evacuated earlier.

According to the state enterprise “Equestrianism of Ukraine”, the strike hit the stud farm. The walls were damaged as a result of the impact, the roof was completely destroyed, and the premises inside burned down. The blast wave also damaged the building of the plant’s branch, and the main stud farm suffered significant damage – its roof was completely burned down. In addition, the hayloft burned down as a result of the impact.

“95% of the horses were evacuated a long time ago. There are still a few horses left at the plant, which will be taken out within a week,” the report says.

The enterprise noted that the employees and horses were not injured. The Zaporizhzhia Stud Farm, which breeds Ukrainian riding horses, thoroughbred riding horses, Novooleksandrivka heavy horse, Oryol trotter, and Ukrainian trotter, is not the first time it has come under Russian shelling.
