Russian strike on bus in Marganets

On April 23, in Marganets, Dnipropetrovsk region, a Russian drone hit a bus carrying employees of an enterprise to work. The strike killed 9 people. Another 49 people were injured.

More about the consequences of the Russian attack was told by the acting head of the Nikopol district council, Dmitry Bychkov: “The Russians continue to terrorize Ukraine and the Nikopol district. Today they inflicted a terrible blow on a bus that was transporting employees of a large enterprise in the city of Marganets to work. It was in the morning. 49 injured. Unfortunately, as of now, 9 dead.”

He added that some of the injured remain in serious condition. The vast majority of the injured are also in hospitals. According to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, 31 people are hospitalized. Four – two men and two women – are in serious condition.

“This is a classic terror that has been going on for a long time in the Nikopol region. When Russians attack with “hails”, drones. In this case, we can state that the drone operator, who made the decision to carry out this strike, saw that it was a company bus. This bus is branded accordingly, it was transporting people who were going to work, but, unfortunately, they did not arrive…”, — said Dmitry Bychkov. In addition to the strike on the bus in Marhanets, the Russians also attacked the city of Nikopol. Dmitry Bychkov said that a 23-year-old woman with two daughters was injured as a result of the strike. One girl is three years old, the other has just turned one year old, said the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration Serhiy Lysak. Everyone was provided with medical assistance. The family will recover at home.
