Russian troops during a massive daytime attack on April 3 carried out a series of strikes on Kyiv region. As a result, one person was killed and wounded, and a veterinary clinic with animals burned down.

This was reported by the head of Kyiv regional military administration Mykola Kalashnyk.

“Unfortunately, as of now we have one dead and eight injured, including a child. All people are being provided with necessary medical assistance,” Kalashnyk noted.

According to him, after the Russian shelling, the consequences are being recorded in Buchanan, Fastiv and Obukhiv districts. In particular, private houses, high-rise buildings, cars, administrative buildings and other objects were damaged.

“Unfortunately, animals were also affected by the attack – about 20 animals died due to damage to the veterinary clinic. More detailed information will be provided later,” the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration added.

It was also reported that during the massive attack, a Russian drone hit a residential building in Obukhiv, Kyiv region.

On the morning of April 3, an air alert was declared in a number of regions of Ukraine due to the threat of strike drones from Russia. In addition, the Russian Federation later launched cruise missiles from strategic bombers.
