
Rescuers have completely extinguished the fires that broke out as a result of the night attack by Russian troops on Shakhtarsk on October 19. The number of injured has increased to 11.
As reported by the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, the fire has engulfed the residential sector – 14 five-story buildings and a store were damaged, and about 30 cars were destroyed and damaged nearby.
According to updated data, 11 people were injured. The victims suffered shrapnel wounds, wounds and bruises. Most are in hospital in moderate condition, one 69-year-old woman is in serious condition due to poisoning by combustion products.
People from the damaged apartments have been temporarily accommodated in the Invincibility Point and shelter. A commission is working on the site to record the extent of the destruction. Public utilities are clearing away the rubble and have already begun to close the broken windows. Part of the building materials was provided by the local authorities, and volunteers are bringing in more.
