Russian strike on Sumy region claimed the life of an elderly woman who was injured in a vegetable garden

As a result of a Russian attack on Sumy region on June 28, an elderly woman, a resident of the Seredino-Budska community, died. The Russians carried out strikes on this border town throughout the day. At the time of one of them, the woman was in a vegetable garden and received a fatal blow and fell in the vegetable garden. Doctors quickly arrived at the scene and evacuated the victim. Despite all the efforts of the doctors, she could not be saved – the woman died in an ambulance.

The Seredino-Budskа urban community of the Shostka district is undergoing serial shelling and airstrikes by Russian troops. Its border location makes the community a constant target for Russian strikes with various types of weapons. The Russian Federation uses mortars, artillery, FPV drones, and guided aerial bombs to strike the Sumy region. The region is actually under constant attacks on settlements around the clock.
