Russian strikes: deaths in Kharkiv, Zhytomyr and Sumy regions

As a result of strikes by Russian troops in Kharkiv, one person was killed and seven were injured. In Zhytomyr region – one person was killed and four were injured. In Sumy region – two people were killed and seven were injured.

After the night strikes on Kharkiv, on the afternoon of April 3, Russian troops continued to attack the city. Shevchenkivskyi district was under attack by Russian drones, said the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov.

A man died in hospital from wounds received during the attack. Seven more people were injured, three of them are in serious condition.

In Sumy region, two people were killed and seven were injured

Also on the afternoon of April 3, the Russians continued to attack the Sumy region. In the Velykypysarivska community, a civilian man died after being hit by a car. In the Bilopolska community, a drone hit a motor-block – one man died, another was injured.

In Sumy, six people were injured in an attack by Russian UAVs, including a 17-year-old girl, the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Grigorov, reported.

A woman died in the Zhytomyr region, five were injured

Russian troops also carried out a missile and drone strike on residential buildings and civilian infrastructure in the Zhytomyr region, the head of the regional military administration, Vitaly Bunechko, reported.

A 70-year-old woman died as a result of the attack, five people were injured. Rescue work is ongoing at the scene.

According to the head of the regional military administration, 18 buildings were destroyed in the north of the Zhytomyr region, including nine residential buildings. More than 100 residential buildings, more than 55 utility rooms and two shops were damaged.

In total, during the attack on Ukraine, which has been going on since the evening of April 2, the Russian troops have used almost half a thousand drones and missiles, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga said. As a result of the morning attack in Sumy region, one person was already known to have died and three were injured, another person was killed and one was injured in Kyiv region, and seven people were injured in Kherson.

As a result of the night strikes on Kharkiv, a 63-year-old woman was injured, and an 18-year-old girl suffered an acute stress reaction. In Poltava region, a man was injured after a drone fell, the head of the Poltava regional military administration, Vitaliy Dyakivnych, reported.
