Russian strikes on Dobropillya: 148 miners remain underground due to power outage

On August 26, Russian troops struck the Dobropil community in the Donetsk region. As a result, local mines were left without power. One and a half hundred miners remained blocked underground.

This was reported by the head of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine Mykhailo Volynets, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. According to him, mines in the Dobropil community were left without power due to Russian shelling.

“148 miners remain underground,” Volynets said.

Local authorities have not yet commented on the situation.

In the Dobropillya area of ​​the Donetsk region, the activity of Russian troops has noticeably increased in recent days.
