Russian terror against civilians continues: wounded and killed as a result of Russian shelling on May 30
Russian troops continue to terrorize Ukrainian cities with shelling. During May 30, residents of several regions were injured and killed.
A man died in Kherson as a result of Russian shelling. This was reported by the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin. At night, Russian troops shelled the Dniprovskyі district of the city. A 66-year-old man was mortally wounded as a result of the strike.
And in the Kherson region, a man was injured as a result of an attack by a Russian UAV, the Kherson regional military administration reports. In the morning, Russian troops attacked a resident of Belozerka with a UAV. A 37-year-old man was injured. He received a mine-explosive injury, contusion, and shrapnel wounds to the head, torso, arms, and legs. The victim was hospitalized.
The Russian army also struck the front-line city of Orekhov in the Zaporizhzhia region. A man was wounded. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov.
“An 83-year-old man was wounded as a result of the Russian attack on Orekhov,” the report says.
It is noted that the Russians attacked the city in the morning. There is destruction. The wounded man is receiving necessary medical care.
In the Kharkiv region, on May 30, Russian troops shelled the regional center and nine other settlements, six people were injured. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov.
“On May 30, the city of Kharkiv and 9 settlements in the Kharkiv region were hit by Russian strikes. As a result of the shelling in the city of Kharkiv, a 43-year-old woman was injured; in the city of Izyum, a 30-year-old and a 28-year-old man were injured; in the village of Vasyshcheve Bezlyudivska community, a 69-year-old man and a 67-year-old woman were injured. In the village of Shevchenkove, a 36-year-old man blew himself up with an unknown explosive device,” the post says.
According to Synegubov, eight Russian drones attacked the Shevchenkivskyi and Kyivskyi districts of Kharkiv.
The Russians actively used various types of weapons in the Kharkiv region: they launched eleven unguided aircraft missiles, an Kh-35 missile, an unidentified type missile, two guided aircraft bombs, sixteen Geran-2 drones, 26 Shaheds, and one FPV drone.
Sumy region: from the morning of May 30 to the morning of May 31, Russian troops carried out more than 160 attacks on 39 settlements in 16 territorial communities of the region, as a result of which four people were injured and two were killed.
According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, a civilian man (born in 1966) and a woman (born in 1964) were wounded in the Khotyn community. One man (born in 1980) was wounded in the Nedryhaylivka community.
In the Bilopil community, a civilian man (born in 1957) died and a civilian woman (born in 1941) was wounded as a result of a UAV strike on May 29. She died in hospital on May 30.
The largest number of attacks was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.
The Russians actively used guided aerial bombs, MLRS and dropping VOG from UAVs: almost 30 MLRS strikes; almost 40 dropping VOG from UAVs; 10 KAB strikes. The Russians also carried out UAV strikes, FPV drones and missile strikes on the territory of the Sumy region.
