Russian troops attack residential areas in Kherson region: four people wounded

Russian troops shelled the territory of Kherson region 24 times using multiple launch rocket systems, mortars, artillery, tanks, and UAVs. Four people were injured as a result of Russian aggression.

The Kherson regional police reported the consequences of the Russian shelling.

Kherson, Stanislav, Novotyanka, Sadove, Ingulets, Kizomys, Prydniprovske, Antonivka, Velytenske, Beryslav, Osokorivka, Zmiivka and Tyahyntsi suffered from Russian combined attacks.

In Kherson district, the police recorded damage to 65 objects:

– 30 private houses,

– 8 multi-storey buildings,

– a lyceum,

– 13 cars,

– a service station,

– 2 shops,

– warehouse buildings,

– garages

– gas pipeline.

In Stanislav, a 68-year-old woman was wounded by Russian artillery fire, and a lyceum and 2 private houses were damaged. Novotyanka and Inhulets suffered from artillery attacks, where two women aged 76 and 46 were wounded and 11 houses were damaged.

In the afternoon, Russians attacked Beryslav with a drone. A 69-year-old man was injured in the explosion of a munition dropped from the drone.

In Kherson, the Russian army shelled private houses, a business and cars in the Northern district, a factory in the Korabelny district, and high-rise buildings and a park in the Dniprovsky district.

All specialized services were working at the sites of the Russian attacks to provide assistance to the victims, eliminate and document the consequences of the shelling.

On February 24, the police of Ukraine responded to 323 statements and reports from citizens about criminal offenses and other incidents. 19 proceedings were opened under Article 438 “Violation of the laws and customs of war” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
