Russian troops attacked critical infrastructure in Cherkasy region: there are casualties

On the night of October 19, Russian troops shelled the Cherkasy region, resulting in the death of one person and wounding of another.

This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets.

Air defense and electronic warfare forces shot down 41 enemy drones and two missiles. However, some objects suffered damage and debris.

Uman district

A woman born in 1961 died as a result of shelling in the Uman district. She was taken to the hospital in extremely serious condition, but the injuries she received turned out to be incompatible with life.

Cherkasy district

In the Cherkasy district, a critical infrastructure facility came under fire. As a result of Shahed’s attack on a private enterprise, a fire broke out in the warehouse, which was promptly extinguished. One man was injured, but refused hospitalization.

Cherkasy

In the city of Cherkasy, the wreckage of the drone damaged the windows of a residential building and the building of a children’s and youth sports school.

On the night of October 18-19, Russian troops launched new strikes on Ukraine, but the air defense forces successfully repelled the attacks, destroying 42 drones and 4 guided missiles.
