The Russians attacked energy infrastructure in Kyiv region, leaving part of Kyiv and Chernihiv regions without electricity.

As a result of the UAV strike, residents of Kyiv and Chernihiv regions remain without electricity, the Ministry of Energy said in a statement.

Meanwhile, the chairman of Slavutych, Yuriy Fomichev, reported that the city is without electricity after the Russians attacked a substation. About 20,000 people were left without electricity. The 330 kV substation, which provided the city with power, was damaged, which also led to the shutdown of the water supply system.

He also noted that the city is trying to switch to new power sources. Fomichev added that due to the shelling, water will be supplied hourly, while communication will continue.
