Russian troops attacked the Dnipro city with Shahed at night, infrastructure damaged, fires broke out

On the night of August 29, Russian troops attacked the city of Dnipro with Shahed, two people were injured, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration Serhiy Lysak reported.

The wounded men, aged 46 and 69, were hospitalized.

Fires broke out in the city as a result of the shelling, rescuers have already eliminated them. An infrastructure facility and a fire station were damaged.

The Russians also struck the Synelnyk district, as a result of which two people died – a man and a woman, another woman in her 50s was injured. According to the regional military administration, a fire broke out on the territory of one of the district’s enterprises, private houses also caught fire, and a gas station was damaged.

In total, air defense forces shot down eight Russian attack drones in the region at night, the regional military administration added.

At night, an air alert was declared in the Dnipropetrovsk region due to the threat of attack UAVs, and the Air Force reported the movement of drones in the Dnipro city.
