At around 11:00 on January 9, Russian troops launched an airstrike on Kherson — four bombs were dropped on the city.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration and the Kherson Regional Police.
The bombs fell on the territory of a factory and a maintenance station. A guided bomb exploded near a kindergarten and private houses. The destruction is called “very serious”. 39 residential buildings and a building of a higher education institution were also damaged.
Currently, 9 victims are known: four women aged 44 to 82 and five men aged 38 to 67. They were diagnosed with explosive and shrapnel wounds to the right hand, traumatic brain injuries, contusions, etc.
The head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Roman Mrochko, noted that “miraculously” no one died.
