Russian troops launch airstrike on Chernihiv region, man injured

Russian troops attacked the border village of Semenivska community in Chernihiv region with unguided air missiles in the morning, the head of the regional military administration Vyacheslav Chaus reported on February 25.

“A 78-year-old local resident was injured as a result of the shelling. He suffered a shrapnel wound to the leg. The man was hospitalized, doctors are providing him with the necessary medical care,” the post says.

A residential building was also damaged.

According to the regional military administration, since the beginning of this year, 24 people have been injured and one man has died due to attacks by Russian troops in Chernihiv region.
