Russian troops shelled Odessa on the night of July 23

The operational command “South” reported that the Russian Federation used five types of sea, land and air-based missiles: “Kalibr”, “Onyx”, Kh-22, “Iskander-M” and “Iskander-K”.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, one person died and 22 people were injured, including four children.

After the attack on Odesa, 17 victims were hospitalized in the city’s hospitals, including 3 children (12 and two 17-year-olds).

Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa regional military administration, announced this: “As of 11:00 a.m., there are three victims in city hospitals, including a 17-year-old boy. His condition is stable and serious. He is in intensive care. Doctors are providing the victims with all the necessary assistance,” the message reads.

Six buildings, two architectural monuments, including a church and port infrastructure were hit.

As a result of the night attack in Odesa, more than 40 buildings were damaged, communal services are working at the scene, the Odesa City Hall reports.

“More than 40 buildings were mutilated in Odesa as a result of nighttime shelling. Utility services are working at all locations,” said the message released on Sunday.

Director of the Department of Education, Olena Buynevych, clarified that five pre-school education institutions were damaged in the city.

During the attack, the Russian Federation destroyed the Transfiguration Cathedral. Services in this church were conducted by priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate.

As a result of the night Russian attack on Odessa, 25 architectural monuments were damaged.

This was reported to the head of Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper: “Preliminarily, 25 architectural monuments were damaged by Russian terrorists overnight in Odesa. Among them are the buildings of the 19th and 20th centuries: Chizhevych’s house, Papudova’s house, Zabludovsky’s house, Gagarin’s house, Janusz’s house, Zhdanova’s house, Russell del Turco’s house, Masa’s house, Manuk Bey’s mansion, Kovalevsky’s house, Porro’s house, Mashevsky’s house and others.

“The Russians deliberately aimed their missiles at the historic center of Odessa, which is protected by UNESCO! Everything that was created by great architects with hard work is now being destroyed by cynical scoundrels,” he emphasized.
