As a result of the night attack on October 9 by Russian drones in the Odessa region, five civilians were injured, port infrastructure, energy facilities and residential buildings were damaged – four settlements were left without electricity. The prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation into a war crime.

Under the procedural leadership of the Odessa regional prosecutor’s office, a pre-trial investigation into the facts of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been launched.
On the night of October 8-9, the Russian armed forces attacked the Odessa region with strike drones.
In the city of Chornomorsk, as a result of massive Russian shelling, power facilities and facilities in the port area were damaged.
Six private houses nearby were damaged by shelling and fire.
Four settlements remain without electricity.
Five civilians were injured in the attack. Five men were injured and are currently in hospital.
Prosecutors are working at the scene together with police officers and the Security Service of Ukraine.
The pre-trial investigation in the criminal case is being conducted by investigators from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Odessa region.
