Russians attack Dnipro with ballistic missiles: two children injured, TPP on fire

On the night of February 12, Russian forces launched a massive attack on the city of Dnipro using Iskander ballistic missiles and drones. Two children, including a baby and a 4-year-old girl, were injured in the attack. The attack also caused extensive damage to private homes and cars, and a fire broke out on the territory of the Prydniprovska TPP.

The attack lasted about 20 minutes and included up to 10 ballistic missiles and dozens of strike drones. In addition, this is not the first aggression by Russian forces in this area: in a previous attack, a 16-story residential building was partially destroyed, resulting in a fire of 200 sq. m in two apartments. At that time, 16 people were rescued from the upper floors, and 6 people, including a child, were injured.

The head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Ganzha, reported that the children who were injured in the latest attack are being provided with all necessary medical care.

This incident highlights the alarming situation in the region and the consequences of military operations for the civilian population.

Given the frequent attacks on civilian objects in Ukraine, the situation in Dnipro is a vivid example of the consequences of war for local residents. The continuation of aggression by Russian forces endangers the lives and health of innocent people, especially children, which is a cause for deep concern not only in Ukraine but also abroad. In addition, such events may affect the international reaction and support for Ukraine in the fight against aggression.
