
On the morning of March 9, Russian troops carried out a series of attacks on the Dnipro district of Kherson, as a result of which five civilians were injured.
This was reported by the Kherson regional and city military administrations.
At around 09:00, the Russians attacked the area using a drone. As a result of the strike, a 58-year-old woman received an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to the abdomen. She was hospitalized, and doctors assess the victim’s condition as moderate.
At approximately 09:15, Russian troops struck the same area again. An apartment building was damaged during the shelling. As a result of the attack, a 91-year-old woman received an explosive injury, as well as shrapnel wounds to the chest and arm. She was also taken to a medical facility in moderate condition.
Later, the city military administration clarified that at about 09:15, an enemy drone of the Molniya type hit a high-rise building. As a result, a 35-year-old resident of Kherson was injured, who received an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to the face. Law enforcement officers took her to the hospital. About 30 windows in the house were damaged, and the facade of the building was also damaged.
Later, at approximately 11:00, the Russian military again attacked the Dniprovsky district, dropping explosives from a drone on people. As a result, a 61-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman were injured. They received explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds to their limbs. The police took them to the hospital for medical care.
