Russians attack Kyiv region with drones: three women injured

Kyiv region was again hit by Russian drones on the night of August 8. Settlements in Buchansky district were targeted by the Russians. Three women aged 16, 56 and 80 were injured as a result of the attack.

This was reported by the head of the Kyiv regional military administration, Mykola Kalashnyk.

As a result of the strikes, fires broke out in the private sector, and damage to residential buildings was recorded. Relevant services are working at the arrival sites.

In Kyiv, the number of damaged housing increased significantly in 2025. Since the beginning of the year, 49 new addresses have been added to the list of severely damaged apartment buildings. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in the capital, 3,129 buildings have been damaged, of which more than 2,000 are high-rise buildings. In 2025 alone, 957 new damages were recorded. Such data was published by the Department of Construction and Housing of the Kyiv City State Administration.
