Russians attack Nizhyn district of Chernihiv region with drones: man killed, houses damaged

On the evening of June 21, Russian troops struck the Nizhyn district of Chernihiv region with drones, resulting in one death.

This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv regional military administration, Vyacheslav Chaus: “Chernihiv region is under Russian shelling. In the evening, Russian drones attacked the Nizhyn district. Unfortunately, one death is known. He is a civilian.”

It is noted that residential buildings, an outbuilding and a garage were destroyed and damaged in the village.

“The Russians always act insidiously. Once again, they are hitting people’s homes. Today’s strike took another life,” the head of the regional military administration wrote.

In turn, the Nizhyn city mayor reported that Nizhyn is under attack by the Shahids.

“Currently, 10 explosions have been recorded on the outskirts of the city and 1 explosion outside the community, in a neighboring settlement,” the report says.

The consequences of the attack are currently being established.
