Russians attack Sumy with drone

On July 2, at around 6:00 p.m., a Russian UAV attacked the Sumy community. There was a hit in the Kovpakiv district of the regional center.

Previously, there were no casualties.

The blast wave damaged the windows of a minibus that was passing by at the time of the attack. The driver quickly drove to a safe distance and dropped off the passengers – none of them were injured.

The windows of several private cars and a residential building were also damaged.

An examination of the territory is underway. All necessary services are working on the spot. Sumy regional military administration reported.

The attacks killed 12 people and injured 78 more.

The most extensive shelling was recorded in: Sumy community, Verkhnyosyrovatsky community, Lebedynsky community, Putyvlsky community.

In addition to civilian casualties, the strikes damaged residential buildings, dozens of energy and gas supply facilities, and industrial enterprises.
