
On February 8, the Russians carried out 76 shellings of the border area of Sumy region, one person injured, and damage was recorded in four communities.
The Military Administration of Sumy region reported: “101 explosions were recorded. The communities of Khotyn, Yunakivska, Myropilska, Bilopolska, Krasnopilska, Velykopysarivska, Esmanska, Shalyginska, Shostkynska, Seredino-Budska, Khutir-Mykhailivska, Sveska were subjected to shelling.”
The Russians carried out a strike on the Khotynska community with FPV drones, UAVs, and dropped explosive devices from UAVs. As a result of the shelling, a civilian was injured, and a private house was damaged.
In the Velykopysarivska community, over 20 explosions damaged 2 private houses, the surrounding area, and a car.
Due to shelling of Yunakivska community, private houses were damaged.
In Shostka community, a Russian UAV hit a civilian production facility and a private house. The consequences of the enemy attack are being clarified.
