Russians attacked 21 settlements in Sumy region last day, civilians injured and civilian objects destroyed

Last day, from 08:00 on July 21 to 08:00 on July 22, the Russian army carried out more than 40 attacks on 21 settlements in 14 communities of the region, the most intense attacks were in Sumy and Shostka districts.

As a result of these attacks, an 18-year-old boy was injured and traumatized in the Sumy community, a 62-year-old woman was injured after a drone strike in the Bereziv community, and an outbuilding was destroyed.

In the Sumy community, women aged 26 and 73, as well as an 8-month-old girl and a 12-year-old teenager, sought medical assistance, and in the Bilopil community, a 76-year-old man and a 77-year-old woman, who were injured during previous Russian attacks, sought medical assistance.

Also under fire from the Russians were the territories and settlements of Yunakivska, Myropilska, Sumska, Esmanska, Shalyginska, Khutir-Mykhailivska, Yampilska, Seredino-Budska, Putyvlska, Burynska, Novoslobodska and Velykopysarevska communities, on which the Russians used FPV drones and guided aerial bombs.

As a result of these strikes, private and multi-apartment residential buildings, non-residential and utility buildings, sports facilities, civilian infrastructure and a car were completely destroyed or damaged.

In the Znob-Novgorod community, the post office building was damaged, and in the Glukhiv community, the church building.

On July 21, the air alert regime in the Sumy region lasted 22 hours and 51 minutes.
