Russians attacked a city in Chernihiv region at night: there is destruction

On the night of May 17, the Russian army attacked the city of Novgorod-Siversky. The Russians hit residential buildings with a drone.

“Around 01:05, a Russian UAV (type is being determined) hit a residential building. There is damage to the civilian infrastructure of the city of Novgorod-Siversky. The full scale of the destruction and other details of the incident are currently being clarified,” the Novgorod-Siversky district military administration reported.

According to preliminary data, the Russians attacked the city with a Gerber strike drone.

According to the district military administration, at least 43 explosions were recorded during the day (from 07:00 on May 16 to 07:00 on May 17).

In the Novgorod-Siversky community, the villages of Buchki, Chaykyne and the city of Novgorod-Siverskyі were under fire.

In the Semenivka community, the villages of Mykolaivka, Arkhipivka, Logy, Khotiivka, Liskivshchyna, Kryvusha, Mkhy, Bleshnya, Yanzhulivka, Semenivka, Serhiivske, Zaliznyy Most, Zarechye and the city of Semenivka are under fire, most of them are FPV drones.
