On September 6, the Russians attacked a substation in the Dnipropetrovsk region and mutilated gas distribution pipelines. Due to this, residents had problems with electricity and gas.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, as a result of the drone attack on the substation, the equipment was turned off, and household consumers in 13 settlements were shut down. Power was restored as of the first half of the day on September 7.
Also, after the end of the air alarm due to smoke in the substation territory, the staff disconnected the overhead line, de-energized the substation, household consumers and local industry. Power for all consumers was also restored.
Gas burners were mutilated
In addition, medium and low pressure distribution gas pipelines were damaged in one of the settlements of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast as a result of hostilities. 144 consumers were disconnected from gas supply.
The Russians are methodically destroying the critical infrastructure of the Dnipropetrovsk region, trying to make the life of the civilian population as difficult as possible.
The situation is the same in other regions where the Russian Federation can reach. The Ministry of Energy reports that on September 6, the energy industry restored power to 60,540 consumers who were cut off as a result of hostilities and technological violations.
In total, 533 settlements remained without electricity as of the morning of September 7 due to hostilities and technical malfunctions.
