Russia attacked an energy facility in the Sumy region on the night of September 14. One worker died, seven more were injured.
This is reported by the Ministry of Energy: “In the Sumy region, as a result of the shelling of the territory of the energy facility, equipment and shelters were damaged, several substations were de-energized. As a result of the attack, an employee of the enterprise – a 54-year-old driver – died.”
In addition, 7 more workers were injured and hospitalized.
In general, according to the Ministry of Energy, on September 13, civilian energy infrastructure in the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy and Chernihiv regions came under Russian fire.
In recent weeks, the Russians have stepped up shelling of the Sumy region. Only on September 13, the Russian Federation dropped guided aerial bombs on Yampil, where two people were killed, a child was injured and they hit Okhtyrka.
On September 12, the Russians massively attacked Konotop, 14 people were injured. There were serious problems with light in the city. Experts called the situation with electricity supply critical after the Russian attack. On September 13, one of the victims died in the hospital after shelling Konotop.
