
On the afternoon of December 23, air raids sounded several times in the Poltava region. During one of them, at about 3:00 p.m., Russian troops attacked an enterprise in the Kremenchuk community with drones.
Two people were injured as a result of the strike. Both wounded were taken to the doctors and are being provided with the necessary assistance. Specialized services are working at the scene, critical infrastructure and life support facilities in the region continue to operate as usual.
Information about the attack was released by the acting head of the Poltava regional military administration, Volodymyr Kohut. He also emphasized the importance of responding to air raids and urged residents of the region not to neglect shelters.
The daytime strike on the Poltava region was part of a large-scale combined attack on Ukraine. On the night of December 23, Russian forces used 38 missiles and 653 strike drones of various types. Air defense forces were operating in many regions of the country.
