On the evening of August 6, Russian troops attacked Sumy again. Hits were recorded in civilian infrastructure, fires broke out at the landing site.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy regional military administration, Oleg Grigorov, and the head of the Sumy city military administration, Serhiy Kryvosheyenko.
“At about 9:00 p.m., the Russians attacked the Sumy community – there were hits in the Kovpakiv district,” Grigorov said.
According to him, the attack caused fires in the dacha sector. All necessary emergency services are working at the scene.
Preliminary, there are no victims or injured. The scale of the damage is being clarified. The type of weapon used by the Russians to strike is being established.
According to Kryvosheyenko, civilian infrastructure was damaged in the Kovpakiv district of the city.
