On the night of January 28, the Russians attacked the residential area of Mirnograd, Donetsk region, with rockets. As a result of hitting the homes of civilians, 3 people were injured of varying degrees of severity, including one teenager. This is reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
“On January 28, 2024, at 1:30 a.m., Russian troops launched a missile attack on a residential area in the city of Myrnograd,” the message reads.
It is noted that a 15-year-old boy and a 35-year-old man received landmine-explosive injuries, carved wounds and puncture wounds.
A 30-year-old woman suffered a brain injury.
Doctors provided assistance to all victims.
14 apartment buildings, educational institutions, a kindergarten and 9 cars were damaged by the bursting of shells.
Under the procedural leadership of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been initiated.
