According to the company’s CEO, Sergei Koretskyі, on June 24, Russian troops struck Naftogaz gas stations and production facilities in four regions of Ukraine.
Several gas stations in Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions were hit by the Russian attack.
During one of the attacks, a suicide drone seriously injured a gas station employee and she was hospitalized in serious condition. Due to the destruction, the gas station had to be shut down.
In addition, Russian UAVs attacked the group’s production assets in the Poltava region. Facilities related to natural gas production and storage suffered significant damage. Part of the production facilities were temporarily put out of service.
Thanks to the prompt actions of rescuers from the State Emergency Service and specialists from the Naftogaz Group, a fire was quickly extinguished at one of the facilities. None of the personnel or rescuers were injured. The extent of the damage is being assessed.
