The Russian army continues to shell civilian infrastructure. On the night of February 3, a Russian drone attacked a sports and recreation complex in Zolochiv, Kharkiv region. The explosion seriously damaged the building, but no casualties were reported.

The head of the Zolochiv village military administration, Viktor Kovalenko, stressed that the Russians are purposefully destroying sports, educational and medical facilities:

“Russia is a terrorist country that brutally destroys everything in its path. Disregarding all the rules of war”

The destroyed complex has been operating since 2018, hosting up to 400 people daily who played volleyball, basketball, football, wrestling, fitness and other sports. Nearby is a children’s and youth sports school, where 336 students studied.
