Russians bring immigrants from impoverished regions of Russia to Henichesk

The occupiers are evicting the local population of Henichesk in the Kherson region and bringing in immigrants from impoverished regions of Russia.

This is stated in the operational information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“The Russian military continues to apply the practice of artificial resettlement and forcible assimilation of Ukrainians in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. For example, in the Heniche district of the Kherson region, the Russians began the forced eviction to Russia of Ukrainian citizens who had not received or refused to receive Russian citizenship, including their families with children and elderly people. The occupiers usually settle representatives of national minorities from the impoverished regions of the Russian Federation in their places of residence,” the message reads.

It is noted that the Russian military, in violation of international humanitarian law, continues to seize medical infrastructure and children’s health facilities in the temporarily occupied territories.

“In the city of Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia Region, the Russian Federation uses one of the buildings of the city hospital to house its wounded terrorists. And in the village of Zugres, in the temporarily occupied Donetsk Region, the occupiers have captured and are using the territory of the Berezhok recreation center to house their units and military equipment,” – emphasized General Staff.
